A Message from the MCWA President, Barbara Patronis

I am honored to lead the Marsh Creek Women’s Association (MCWA) this season. When I joined MCWA, I found it provided not only an opportunity to meet great new friends, but an opportunity to give to the community through fundraising efforts. I have always been impressed with the quality and diversity of MCWA’s programming. Not only do we offer lunch programs with an array of substantive topics, but diversity in our charitable giving throughout our community.

Better Together

MCWA continues to focus on enriching your experience as members. In everything we do, we build the opportunity for you to get to know your fellow members - whether during lunch programs, sharing ideas in interactive committees, meeting each other for working lunches, doing good through community service with our charities, or attending happy hours and other social events. We strive as an organization to have fun while making a difference in our community by being Better Together.

Here is a brief synopsis of our MCWA Committees:

  • Care: this committee is dedicated to anyone needing supplies, meals after surgeries or illnesses.

  • Membership: invites new members to join MCWA, socialize, and make new friends.

  • Programs: brings the “entertainment” factor to our luncheons.

  • Social Events: fun get-togethers are planned to create arts & crafts or just share happy hours and historical tours.

  • Outreach: provides various opportunities for charitable support for our community.

  • Website and Communications: brings you information with upcoming news and events.
