What a great and fun show today at Marsh Creek Country Club by A’Propos and Global Island Treasures! We brought this back again by popular demand since last year’s success!
This year’s motif featured many beautiful pieces geared towards our Havana Nights fund raising theme!

The Social Committee hosted a lovely event! We toured the Lightner Museum then went to Athena for lunch. Just a lovely day!

The MCWA ladies enjoyed the local St. Augustine scene with 3 happy hours, at the MCCC club in June, Salt Life in July and Old Coast Ales in August.
We had an engaging discussion for our July luncheon with Vicky Oakes, our St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, about our election process.

We had a wonderful time celebrating the June luncheon and giving out the donations from our annual Derby Gala. Our former president, Nancy Erion, shared her joy in hearing that we were able to give $75,000 when her first year as president, the MCWA raised $23,000. How wonderful to be able to partner with Pie in the Sky, Food 4 Kids, and the Alpha Omega Miracle Home. We had a great time having representatives from each organization.
We had a wonderful luncheon as we passed the torch (or the gavel) to our new leadership. We had a great time honoring past leaders and welcoming in new ones. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Christina Parish Stone, “Fair Winds to Elysium: Artists in St. Augustine, 1774 to 2024” from St. Johns Cultural Council provides some historical context for artists in St. Augustine and discusses where things are headed in the future.
We had a great time getting to know each other better at our Wine and Cheese event at Tracy Gallagher’s house. Great views, great wine, and great people!
We had a wonderful performance by the First Coast Opera. The only producing opera company in Northeast Florida, First Coast Opera is a leading arts voice and active arts partner in the region.
We had a wonderful time exploring the St Augustine Classic Car Museum with a great lunch at Cantina Louie afterward. The Classic Car Museum has been in St Augustine for almost 4 years, is a 501c3, and is available for larger events, holding up to 200 people.
