Summer Happy Hours

The MCWA ladies enjoyed the local St. Augustine scene with 3 happy hours, at the MCCC club in June, Salt Life in July and Old Coast Ales in August.

June Luncheon & Gala Donations

We had a wonderful time celebrating the June luncheon and giving out the donations from our annual Derby Gala. Our former president, Nancy Erion, shared her joy in hearing that we were able to give $75,000 when her first year as president, the MCWA raised $23,000. How wonderful to be able to partner with Pie in the Sky, Food 4 Kids, and the Alpha Omega Miracle Home. We had a great time having representatives from each organization.

April Luncheon & Art Show

Christina Parish Stone, “Fair Winds to Elysium: Artists in St. Augustine, 1774 to 2024” from St. Johns Cultural Council provides some historical context for artists in St. Augustine and discusses where things are headed in the future.

So much talent is displayed at the MCWA’s 24th Annual Arts & Crafts Show

Jewelry Making With Rosemary DellaPina

MCWA member Rosemary Dellapina, held a jewelry class for 12 members. Each participant created a necklace and bracelet using turquoise beads, genuine pearls and sterling silver. Rosemary worked with each member on the techniques for finishing a beautiful piece of jewelry. Everyone had a great time sipping sparkling wine and being creative!

The Jacksonville Symphony Coffee Series never disappoints!  On Friday, November 3rd, a group of 19 ladies carpooled to downtown Jacksonville to enjoy "Star Wars and More: Music of John Williams".  Following the concert, the ladies enjoyed lunch at the Bellwether restaurant.

Sunday Funday - Raintree and Limelight Theater

What could be more exciting during the weekend than a Sunday Funday! A group of 16 ladies enjoyed a delicious Brunch at The Raintree Restaurant in Uptown St Augustine followed by a matinee at the Limelight Theater to see “The Music Man.”

Fall Into Pinot

Sip-Sip Hooray!! The Social Committee, in conjunction with Membership, shared a fabulous social gathering on Thursday, October 19th!

The "Fall into Pinot" theme inspired everyone to taste Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio wines chosen by our Food and Beverage Director, Angel Calderon.

Executive Chef, Will Swank and his wonderful staff created a beautiful charcuterie board of fabulous treats!  Everyone attending had a great time, including those who joined MCWA! Welcome new members!
