November Luncheon Program Photos

ReCHIC Unique Boutique

Chef Will Swank prepared a Fall themed two course lunch. We enjoyed slow-roasted pork loin with cranberry demi-glace, roasted potatoes and green beans. For dessert, the kitchen made a decadent peanut butter chocolate pie.

ReCHIC Boutique located at 214 San Marco Avenue brought a well chosen selection of their one-of-a-kind vintage pieces to us. Owner Lisa Lambka presented a wide array of her finished designs. An inveterate traveler, Lambka showed things that began as sterling salt and pepper shakers from the twenties, a miniature Chinese junk and a fur-trimmed cape respectively “re chiced” into a necklace and bracelet, over-sized ring and a vest.

Beyond her creations, the shop has Florida’s largest collection of both vintage hats and Lucite handbags, all in keeping with Lambka’s motto of “Don’t buy unless you love it.”

Camille Kay spoke about the Angel Tree which helps children and also shared the specific needs of each of the six charities that we will donate to this year. It has become a MCWA holiday tradition as our ladies spread cheer to the children and help some of our designated charities. Thanks to all the women who picked angels at our November luncheon and just a reminder that there are still some“ angels” looking for a sponsor.
